Different types of clay, peat, slurry and other soft ground materials can be transformed into solid layer to secure construction sites and form land. This method can also be used for remediation of contaminated areas by immobilising hazardous constituents within the treated material and allow such mass to be ecologically processed or disposed of. ADVANTAGES AND BENEFITS Directly treating existing ground subgrade means you will save costs of its removal and replacing it with stronger material. Using soft soil stabilization method is also faster than excavating and disposal of the old grade, obtaining and compaction of replacement grade and related logistics. When lime is used as binder agent in road construction, substantial improvements can be seen in long-term durability even under tough environmental conditions.
